The snow, in winter...that's more like it!
La neige, en hiver...c'est plus normal!
Evan a adore faire de la luge. Moi, j'ai adore aussi--il etait trop mignon!
Evan loved going sledding. I love it too--he was so cute!
1re jour: Heavenly. Il faut prendre le gondola pour monter.
1st day: Heavenly. You have to take the gondola to go up.
Il y a un arret avant d'arriver, pour voir le Lake Tahoe... Pas mal...There's a stop on the way, at the Observation Deck to see the view... Not bad...
Evan admire la vue avec son copain...Evan admires the view with his friend...
"La vue est tres jolie d'ici!""The view is great up here!"
Enfin...la luge! Je le pose sur le "saucer" et je le pousse!Finally...sledding! (or "saucering") I put him on the saucer and push!
Swoosh! Il est parti!Swoosh! He's off!
Uh oh! Il est coince! Il ne pouvait pas bouger des qu'il etait sur le "saucer"...Uh oh! He's stuck... He couldn't move once he was on the saucer...
Des qu'il arrive en bas il crie, "More pousser, Maman! More pousser!" (more = plus/encore) Parfait exemple du "franglais".Right when he gets to the bottom he screams "More pousser, Maman! More pousser!" (pousser = push). Perfect example of "franglish".
2me jour: des collines dans un parc, ou ca fini sur le lac gele.2nd day: on the hills of a park, which ends on the frozen lake.
On voit un peu le lac gele derriere...You can see the frozen lake in the background here...
Papa et Evan jouent avec un bonhomme de neige...Papa et Evan play with a snowman...
Et (on n'a pas de photo de ca) Evan a fini par faire un pipi dans la neige pour la premiere fois!And (we don't have a photo of it) Evan finished the sledding day by having a nice big pee in the snow for the first time!

C'est la 1ière fois qu'Evan voyait la neige? En tout cas, il a l'air ravi...

Oui, c'est la premiere fois pour Evan de voir la neige. Il etait fascine, sauf quand il tombait dans la neige avec les mains sans gants--il criait "froid! froid!" ;)
Ah-haha! Stuck on the saucer--what can be cuter. And the pee in the snow--I'll bet he marveled at how fast the white stuff disintegrated. =)
Magnifique découverte de la neige pour Evan qui sera peut-être un jour fan de snow-board!

Quite the different environment from the week before, eh? That's what I love about CA: one weekend the beach, the next weekend the snow and mountains...you got it all!
